This itinerary includes the majestic beauty of Alberobello, well-known for its trulli, the whiteness of Ostuni, the baroque art of Martina Franca and the stunning town of Grottaglie, extremely important for its ceramic craftsmanship.
A tour that will lead you to discover the wonders of the Itria Valley and the lower Murgia, along with the hills and districts, oil mills and wineries. Here you can taste fine qualities of EVO oil and great wines of these lands.

DAY 1 | MARTINA FRANCA – ALBEROBELLO – LOCOROTONDO | 63 km / difference in altitude 1050 m
On the first day, we set out to explore one of the most characteristic areas of the Itria Valley with a beautiful stretch on one of the most popular routes among cycle tourists: the long “Ciclovia dell’Acquedotto Pugliese (Apulian Aqueduct Cycle Route)”. This is a bicycle touring path along two historical water mains of the Apulian Aqueduct.
DAY 2 | MARTINA FRANCA – CISTERNINO – OSTUNI | 66 km / difference in altitude 1300 m
Let’s leave Itria Valley behind and head straight for “Piana degli Ulivi Secolari”, an evocative path in close contact with nature the rural history of the Apulia region.
DAY 3 | MARTINA FRANCA – GROTTAGLIE – CEGLIE MESSAPICA | 66 km / difference in altitude + 1140 m
Starting from Itria Valley we will move southwards to discover the Alto Salento and charming town of Grottaglie, the capital of ceramic pottery in Apulia. Grottaglie, with its magnificent “Quartiere delle Ceramiche” (Ceramics District), is a must-see when visiting our region.
